WASHINGTON (July 28, 2026) — Today, the Council for Innovation Promotion (C4IP) applauded the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for launching a five-year national initiative to strengthen America’s innovation ecosystem. C4IP will serve as a founding coalition partner in the effort, which aims to expand intellectual property education, accelerate commercialization, and foster greater cross-sector collaboration.
Frank Cullen, executive director of C4IP, issued the following statement on the initiative:
“America’s continued leadership in innovation depends on strong intellectual property protections and a collaborative ecosystem capable of turning breakthrough ideas into products and services that improve lives.
