On Tuesday, May 12, the Council for Innovation Promotion (C4IP) and the Alliance of U.S. Startups & Inventors for Jobs (USIJ) hosted a luncheon discussion featuring former USPTO Director David Kappos and former Deputy United States Trade Representative Ambassador Jeffrey Gerrish.

The in-person event, “Securing the Future of U.S. Innovation: The Importance of IP Rights,” touched on timely topics related to bipartisan trade and intellectual property enforcement, including policies to support IP protections at home and tools to defend them abroad.
