On November 8, the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association (CIPLA) and the University of Akron IP & Technology Law Center will co-host the November CIPLA meeting at Quaker Station. C4IP’s Executive Director Frank Cullen will deliver the keynote speech entitled “Innovation and IP: The Inextricable Link.”
Cullen will “explain how recent trends in IP legislation and case law have affected the innovation ecosystem/economy and U.S. global competitiveness. He will critique these changes and provide an explanation of and update on the latest legislative proposals. He will explain what actions leaders in Congress and the Executive Branch should take next, and how practicing lawyers can make a difference.”
